Mysterious Loud Noise Heard Throughout Boston Confirmed as My Dad Sneezing

The loud “booming” noise was heard throughout the Greater Boston Area, according to reports from citizens via Facebook and various NextDoor groups.

Tamra Campbell was the first to post “did anyone hear that?” in her community Facebook group at 10:30am last Tuesday. Her question was answered by the fifty-two subsequent posts posing the same exact question.

“Did anyone hear that crazy sound?” wrote Beth M.

“woah who else heard that” asked Jason Wiggins

“Anyone else hear that loud boom?” wrote Gary Ochefske

These people were so frightened, they each had to make their own post instead of just scrolling down, seeing the other posts, and confirming that others did, in fact, hear that sound.

Well, Boston citizens will be pleased to hear that the frightening sound came from my dad. He has seasonal allergies and it’s that time of year. So. Case closed.
